Stayed in one of their hotels in downtown Madrid last year. Thought I was in a welfare property. No curtains, carpet stapled to walls in hallway, beds terrible, hookers yelling all night outside, tiny elevator, inept desk staff. Great hustle. I agree board members do not know what the *** is going on and get options not to. Growth without an eye to quality has always been Wyndham, Cendant, HFS... Read more

Wow, I'm just shocked that somebody would get that low and audio record people they work with. I left jobs in the past where I felt I had to be dishonest. Sounds to me like a person who did not achieve much at work. As a sales person mentioned he pitched clean the product he was selling. So there's nothing wrong with Wyndham properties or company - just be honest in your sales presentation. Just... Read more

Asking Wyndham’s Board of Directors to Stop the Timeshare Fraud Leaving aside for the moment the inherent fact that timeshares are in and of themselves a creation to sell nothing for something, and the fact that without lying it would be utterly impossible to sell what is in essence the significantly overpriced advanced payment for vacations that one may or may not actually ever be able to take... Wyndham's timeshare company ran my credit and signed me and my wife up for credit cards without our permission. We were told we were getting a huge discount on the timeshare and would therefore have to pay nothing at closing. We found out later that Wyndham gave us three new credit accounts, charging them up to the max. The credit card company says its Wyndham's fault and we had to talk to... Read more

I have been a Wyndham timeshare owner for 4 years. On a whim, I got a few points and was all excited to use them. Over the years, I have learned that: a) many of the locations are still owned by week (vs. points) owners and they rarely become available to other people; b) most locations are very point-expensive OR aren't available when you want to travel; and c) your basic ownership doesn't get... Stayed at Hawthorn Suites in Tyler Tx. Paid cash for night stay and it was charged to my credit card which was needed to stay there. The hotel received cash and payment from my credit card. When reported to manager, since the receipt was kept for weeks I was told the manger trusted her employee, thus the guest was a person not to be trusted. I contacted corp.office only to be told without a... Read more

Wyndham's officers and directors have been making hundreds of millions of dollars from their stock options and excessive salaries while fleecing our country's elderly with worthless timeshares. Each of Wyndham's directors is absolutely aware of what Wyndham does in fraudulently selling Wyndham timeshare points to senior citizens. They are part of a scheme that preys on our parents and grand... Read more

Checked into hotel on 14 Nov to find two small beds that were sold as "undescribed." Assured that the beds were large enough to accommodate two adults and two kids. We walked in to find two very hard, steps above a twin, very cluster room with beds. I immediately contacted the front desk to speak with manager " Mike". He was very unconcerned and unwavering in his tone and resoultion to help, ... Read more

In 2008 we had the same problem. We went to a presentation for the free tickets. We said no several times, but they kept upping the ante. Finally my husband said ok. The whole problem is my husband was on Chemo for leukemia. He still had a round to go when we returned home. Wyndham reps knew this as this was the first thing I told them. Thinking that they would stop talking to him. Wrong! He was... Read more
