I had problems paying my maintenance fee and then had a conflict with the company, so did not pay maintenance fees for 18 months. I decided to deal with a service rep who called so I would not lose the deeds I and my parents had paid for since 1988. Got paid up so I could use the timeshares again, but was reluctant to go on auto pay since that is what started the problem in the first place. I... Read more

One night, I was unexpectantly stuck in a snowstorm in Durango, Co. It was about 10:00pm. I needed a room. I saw a Super 8 motel with a "vacancy" sign outside. I went to the front desk and confirmed that there was a room available. We signed on for a timeshare presentation in Las Vegas because we were PROMISED tickets to Donny and Marie, and these were confirmed by telephone by the carnival barker at the sign up kiosk before ever agreeing to anything. Once we decided to not to purchase a deal for 24K (which found out they were offering a much lower price to another couple who were standing behind us), we were told to go to the receptionist to get our complimentary gift certificate. I am a very disappointed Wyndham owner of 13 years and wish I had never bought into the company. I booked Wyndham Ocean Blvd, Myrtle Beach, SC through a third-party, first mistake! I booked a Super 8 room through Wyndham Rewards online. An email confirmed that I had a non-smoking room, but when I arrived the manager insisted the Wyndham system had put me in a smoking room and that they could not change it.
