I tried to book my vacation that I purchased 8 months ago. Since that time, I have seperated from my wife (trust me, I NEED a vacation)and when I mentioned this to the agent, I was told that I would have to wait until I was divorced to do it.
The loop hole here is that because they asked if I was married (which I was at the time) there was an implied understanding that I would bring my wife.
Because I am "seperated" and not divorced, they will not honor the agreement.
It seems to me that because some states recognize "legal seperations" that they would be required to make good on the deal. I guess not.
Monetary Loss: $180.
