Wyndham Hotels in Cincinnati, OH, charged us for a night stay when we couldn't cancel by computer. We were traveling and unable to get computer access and automated phone # said we had to cancel online.
Called the next morning and they wouldn't refund money. Will never book there again! This policy is totally unrealistic since not everyone carries an iphone and has constant access to the internet.
It seems to me that if a cancellation is made before noon of the day you are to arrive, which is the policy of MOST hotels, that should be sufficient. end
